Old Chang Kee Chicken Kopi'O

Old Chang Kee - a household name known for its delectable puffs - is no stranger to Singaporeans. Mention curry puff and this company's name would most likely come to mind.

Operating out of a small stall in a coffee shop near the then REX Cinema in 1956, it now has a chain of almost 80 kiosks all over the country and that is not even including the outlets overseas.

Old Chang Kee has certainly come a long way; it was recently inducted into the Influential Brands' Hall of Fame for winning the Influential Brands Award for five consecutive years.

Amongst the reasons contributing to their success, the company have actively been coming up with new flavors to attract customers. Past flavors included the likes of Chicken Satay'O, Cheesy Curry Chicken'O and the Rendang Chicken'O just to name a few.

Now, they have a new flavor under their wing - the new Chicken Kopi'O!

McDonald's Singapore has just "zhng-ed" their menu with local flavors, giving a new twist to old favorites such as the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Burger, Twist & Shaker Fries with Salt & Pepper Crab flavored Shaker, and Gula Melaka McFlurry with Layer Cake Bites.

McDonald's Food Icons X Nanoblock With Purchase Of EVM!

After Hong Kong and Malaysia, the McDonald's Food Icons X Nanoblock is finally coming to Singapore!

The Nanoblock will be made available in stores every Monday from 22 February 2016 at 11am and each collectible is available for sale with purchase of any EVM (Extra Value Meal).

McDonald's Food Icons X Nanoblock Sneak Preview At Bugis Junction Atrium!

After Hong Kong and Malaysia, Singapore is the third Asian country to launch the McDonald's Food Icons X Nanoblock!

The promotion will be launched next week (22 February 2016) but there will be a sneak preview this coming Wednesday (17 February 2016).

McDonald's will be setting up their smallest store in the world at Bugis Junction Atrium (outside Bossini) and the first 100 customers can order one of the following items: Big Mac, French Fries (M), McFlurry Oreo, Apple Pie, McCafe Premium Roast Coffee or a Coca Cola (S).

Each customer will receive their order free of charge along with one matching McDonald's  Food Icons X Nanoblock.

The restaurant will operate from 12pm and orders are limited to one menu item per customer.

This is a ONE day only event so do not miss it!

Customers are allowed to purchase ONE figurine per EVM, subject to availability.

Two designs will be released every Monday at 11am for three weeks:

In case you haven't heard, everyone's favorite monsters are back!

After twelve long years, Mike and Sulley are making a comeback with a new movie except this time, we are brought back to the very beginning where they first met in college!

It all began during a school excursion to Monster Inc. for pint-sized Mike and his elementary school friends. There, he met one of his heroes, "Frightening" Frank McCay who gave him his Monsters University cap and from that point forward, Mike is determined to attend the university and become a top scarer, just like Frank.

McDonald's New Breakfast Offerings

Just slightly more than a week ago, McDonald's gave away over 100,000 free Egg McMuffins islandwide in a bid to encourage Singaporeans to wake up for the most important meal of the day - breakfast.

The event was a resounding success with the muffins snapped up in no time.

At the same time, McDonald's introduced new breakfast items like the Hotcakes with Strawberry/Hot Fudge, Chicken Muffin and a premium roast coffee that is richer and bolder than before.

I, along with a few other bloggers were invited to a food-tasting session at their Ang Mo Kio Park outlet to check out their new offerings. While at the event, I had the privilege to make the acquaintance of Princess Dana who shared my love for hashbrowns and chocolate!

Being a frequent public transport commuter, I do have my fair share of grouses and horror tales (of inconsiderate behavior) to tell.

As with most people, I have a love-hate relationship with horror movies. Each time after watching, the horrifying scenes would be looping in my mind for days and despite that, there is a incessant urge in me that's begging to be spooked.
