Mini Beanies And Soya Porridge @ Mr Bean Jurong Point

When I saw the above poster on Mr Bean's facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MrBeanSingapore/photos/a.204749536337346.69311.194064697405830/520886044723692/?type=1&theater), I was smitten-ed by the cute Mini Beanies donning different funny hats.

I have always like Mr Bean's mascot so I thought I gotta give it a try!

And there I was, a few days later, standing in front of Mr Bean at Jurong Point, ordering my Mini Beanies.

12 pieces Mini Beanies (SGD3.50)

The Mini Beanies are sold in two sizes - regular (8 pieces for SGD2.90) and large (12 pieces for SGD$3.50).

I was told to pick one dipping sauce and one topping to go along with my Mini Beanies.

I ordered the "Large" serving with Nacho Cheese and Oreo.

The Mini Beanies is a thumb-sized pancake in the shape of the Mr Bean mascot. Check out the smiley face and those tiny feet!

The Mini Beanies is soft and fluffy and I got a batch of hot ones (a pity they turn cold very fast). The tray get emptied out really fast and the staff had to make new ones frequently.

I really love the taste of the Nacho Cheese.

Have you tried the Mini Beanies before?

Finishing the last Mini Beanies, I still had a tablespoon of Oreo and Nacho Cheese left. Of course I did not let them go to waste.

With a tablespoon of Nacho Cheese in my mouth, I can only say shiok!

At the same time, I also tried a bowl of their savory Soya Porridge because I am curious how porridge would taste like with soya.

Spicy Minced Chicken Beancurd (香辣鸡肉脞豆花) SGD3.80

Mr Bean had three flavors of Soya Porridge. What I had was the Spicy Minced Chicken Beancurd (香辣鸡肉脞豆花).

To put it simply, it is chicken bak chor porridge with mushrooms and vegetarian floss.

The porridge comes with a cute mini dough stick

I added two spoonfuls of black vinegar (provided on the table) and gave it a good stir. The texture is smooth while the taste is a little spicy and savory with the additional fragrance of soya. I thoroughly enjoyed chewing on the mushroom.

This marriage of porridge with soya is a match made in heaven! I would definitely recommend this delicious bowl of Soya Porridge to everyone!

The Soya Porridge is also available in two other flavors - Peanuts with Tofu (SGD3) and Chicken Meatballs (SGD3.50).

All along, I thought Mr Bean only sell Soya Milk and pancakes.

It is only when I look up from my table did I realize that not only do they have hot and cold desserts, they even have different variants of soya beverages.
