I am pretty excited to try out this stall which sells a selection of seafood items and stir-frys like hor fun, fried rice, mee goreng, etc.
However, I am there mainly for their nasi lemak (fatty rice) and nasi ayam (chicken rice). You may be spoilt for choice here as this two dishes came in many variations!
From the normal chicken drumstick and chicken cutlet to the increasingly popular lobster with salted egg sauce, Adimann is set all out to please their customers.
After browsing the menu, I picked the "chicken rice flintstone" which comes with rice, a chicken drumstick and a bowl of soup for $4. I must say the chicken drumstick look delish under the fried batter!
One of the deciding factors that make me patronize Adimann is because I heard they used basmati rice and I am curious how basmati chicken rice would taste like. However, what I was served is not the long-grained rice.
That aside, the rice smells fragrant enough and is not too oily though the texture is slightly mushy.

My order took some time to be ready so I thought the chicken drumstick was only fried upon ordering but, it is cold to the touch when I eat it. The rice is hot though.
And if you are wondering, no, it is not because I took photos till the food turned cold. I took about 5 minutes to complete my shots which is an unrealistic amount of time for any freshly fried chicken to turn cold completely.
I received an even bigger surprise when I pry the meat apart with the fork and spoon. The area near the bones is semi raw and still oozing blood. I had to pick around the cooked portion to eat while being careful not to ingest any of the raw flesh accidentally.

You know, it is ironic that they named their chicken rice "chicken rice flintstone". I am not from the stone age so I would appreciate my meat to be thoroughly cooked.
I hope it is a one-off incident because I still want to try their nasi lemak although I will give their nasi lemak flintstone a miss.
