Produced by Jim Henson - the greatest puppeteer of all times, the Muppet Babies were the reason why Sunday mornings were worth waking up for!

BEAKER!
Okie, so you may not have heard of his name and he may not even be half as popular as Kermit or Fozzie but this kancheong spider here with the bulging eye and drawbridge mouth cracks me up with his antics!
Beaker is Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's long, suffering lab assistant who is always at the mercy of the latter's scientific experiments.
In these experiments, Beaker always ended up getting burnt, electrocuted or even blown to pieces that you can't help but feel sorry for him.
He communicates in this cutsey but incomprehensible language of "Meep Meep Meep" which leaves one to wonder what exactly is he mumbling about?
As though jinxed, Beaker have the knack of getting himself into the most precarious situations while performing the most ordinary day-to-day activities.

After a long absence from the TV screen, I'm thrilled to know that The Muppets are coming back with a new movie!
Synopsis:
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world's biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds. To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, Disney’s “The Muppets” hits the big screen Dec. 8, 2011.
